The Super Six 50mm f/1.9 is such a joyous lens to use. I really love how Light Lens Lab designed it externally in the form of the old Rigid Summicron. It just looks so good on the cameras. And it handles fantastically well. Image Quality is fantastic. Full of character.

! You were absolutely stunning this year! Great friends, great music. It took me 4 days to shake it all off. What a ride!

THYPOCH THURSDAY - Ksana 35mm f/2

The Thypoch Ksana 35/2 is probably one of the best 35mm lenses I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. It’s a definite top 3 for me. It’s small, bitingly sharp throughout all apertures, has great balanced bokeh and is built to a very high standard. This lens is a no brainer for any Leica M photographer!
As usual I did some product photography for Thypoch, and spent some time testing the lens. Blogpost with full review will be up shortly.

What a weekend! It’s been a long time since I’ve had the chance to see and talk to so many old friends and new acquaintances. I am so thankful for everyone who attended the photowalk (we were a lot more than 25! 🤣) and all who attended my masterclass. You made me feel so welcome!

Another little cracker of a lens. The ArtraLab 28mm f/2.8 is impressively small yet impressively capable. It’s styled to fit right onto the Leica cameras…. Now if only they made a brass version. Oh wait….

The Eureka 28mm f/2.8

I’ve had the immense pleasure of using the Thypoch Eureka 28mm f/2.8 since late last summer as a prototype run, and doing some product photography for them. It’s such a well built little lens with a completely unique styling. A really great little lens.
