Rising Arts Photography Inactive.

Thanks all of those who let me capture their hearts and souls in a photograph. Due to recent events and how the face of the industry is changing for the worse - and I’m beginning to despise it - I decided that Rising Arts Photography is hereby officially over. Photography, for me at least, was always supposed to be about art, passion, love and about connections. If the negative aspects, however, outweigh all of the above it‘s time to walk away. ❤️ I will keep this page online but inactive. Whoever would like to continue following me for the occasional stroll down memory lane, please feel free to do so. There will be no more new content though.

First shooting for quite some time now. And what an exciting one, too!! Thank you for having me. It was a blast to work with everyone involved. Next steps: cleaning the equipment - and myself for that matter 🤣 - with a high pressure cleaner… and getting those pics sorted

HAPPY PHOTO COMPETITION!!!

My dear friends and followers,

I think we can all agree that we're currently experiencing "special" times. Many of us feel sad, angry, depressed, lost, helpless, hopeless, to sum it up: dark.

We appear to have lost our joy and forgotten to look out for each other - unlike we did at the beginning of the pandemic! We are constantly under pressure, fighting, trying to make sense of everything. One thing's for sure: that's NOT the way!

So I decided to try and make YOUR lives a teensy tinsy little bit more bright, happy and joyful by creating a little competition. Sometimes it's the little things in life.

What you gotta do:
1. Go to Rising Arts Photography and like THIS post
2. Comment with a photo of whatever / whomever lifts your spirits and write a short caption why that is
3. I will select three photos by September 5th 2020
4. The winners will receive a 10,00 € paypal fund for a (or any happy individual choice) for you and someone who needs it most
6. The winners will be contacted via messenger for details (email address will be required!) by September 6th 2020

No need to be artsy, have super duper photography skills or whatnot. Just focus on what brings you joy, take a picture or draw something and show us!
Invite your friends and family to do the same. Share this post, if you like. The more, the merrier 😀

Let's bring happy thoughts to Facebook for once!
I look forward to your entries. Let's do this!

Tons of love to all of you,
Julez - Rising Arts Photography

Good morning everyone!

Have you ever wondered what a video or photo shoot looks like behind the scenes? Let me take you on a little journey to the ancient caves in the Sauerland region where the mighty Rage made all hell break lose - and damn near made the cave‘s walls crumble 😏😎

Video by the master of sound Dani Dynamita González Suárez, kudos!

Be safe and happy and enjoy your day.

Love,
Julez - Rising Arts Photography

Had some fun with Stefan Weber of Rage doing some quick shots for PICKME-custom_DE. For a change, not him but his gear was - quite literally - the focus of that shooting :-)

Check out those superb picks! They sure are waiting for being played live soon! I got mine as a thanks already, yay!

Thank you again Florian Moritz of Pickme, such a nice contact is truly rare these days.

Keep up the good work and stay happy everyone.

Happy Sunday and lots of love,
Julez - Rising Arts Photography

Hey folks! Long time no hear! I hope you all are safe and - despite the current situation - happy as bunnies.

It sure is a strange time and I'm beyond thankful to be surrounded by fabulous opportunities and those who make them possible. Yeah, yeah, all that heartfelt stuff.. 😍😂

So, let's get a bit more METAL here: back in May I had the pleasure and honor to work with the mighty metal legend Rage in context of their line-up change. The addition of Stefan Weber and Jean Bormann to the band not only boosts their killer sound by six more strings but as a human factor! Peavy Wagner, Vassilios Maniatopoulos "Lucky", Stefan and Jean, you certainly are wonderful guys! Thanks for a great day.

Make sure to tune in to Wacken World Wide for their premiere tonight at 07:02 p.m. CEST!

See you soon and stay safe and METAAAALLLL 🤘🤘🤘

Okay folks, this is a sad day for me as I am hereby announcing the end of Rising Arts Photography as it is.

This is my second post of the matter. I didn't intend to insult anyone. I just took the liberty of speaking my mind.

I'm sick and tired of people stealing my photos, posting them as theirs, using them for marketing purposes and other. This might sound drastic or ridiculous to some of you. Still, I can only hope to make you all aware that copyright law is an actual law and it doesn't matter if you're a musician, a writer, a painter or a photographer. Art is hard work, love, passion, years of practice and it should never EVER be stolen.

Three times in one year this happened to me now and I can't do anything about it! One pic of Joe Satriani got printed on a truck, copyright removed, was never even asked. No reaction from the person responsible. Another was used for marketing purposes of some jewelry company just recently. No reaction to any message. Now some "digital artist" transformed a photo into one of his pieces. Put it up for sale, of course. Blocked me when I asked him why he did that.

Now let me ask you: If a photo, a song or anything art like is good enough to be used for any purpose, why not appreciate the artist behind the creation then?

I can only ask people to be honest, to simply ask for permission. I have my day job, I have NO intent to get rich with this and I'm happy if my pics are being used somewhere. But not just steal them...

This is why I am beyond frustrated and came to the conclusion to end Rising Arts at this point.

For shootings and private requests I will remain available and this page will stay online but this will be my last post for Rising Arts.

Goodbye and thank you for everything.
