Chiaroscuro erinnert mich daran, dass kein Mensch nur aus Licht besteht. Unsere Narben, Zweifel und Herausforderungen gehören genauso zu uns wie unsere Erfolge und unsere Freude. Erst das Zusammenspiel beider Seiten verleiht Charakter, Tiefe und Authentizität. Das Licht zieht den Blick an – doch oft sind es die Schatten, die die eigentliche Geschichte erzählen.✨

Chiaroscuro reminds me that no person is made of light alone. Our scars, doubts, and struggles are just as much a part of us as our achievements and joy. It is the interplay between both that creates character, depth, and authenticity. Light may draw the eye, but it is often the shadows that tell the real story. ✨

“Papa, please get the moon for me…” 🌙✨

Anyone who knows Eric Carle’s beautiful story knows just how huge this wish can be for a little explorer. Since my son is absolutely obsessed with this book, I wanted to give him that exact feeling: being so close to the giant, glowing full moon that he could almost catch it with his own two hands. 💫

Sometimes, you just have to reach for the stars (or the moon) for them. ❤️

The Netherlands is by far one of the most child-friendly countries I have ever experienced. Children are simply allowed to be children. Free, loud, curious, adventurous. 🤍

This image still reminds me how beautiful it is to see places where even big families truly feel welcome.

Spring is here, and the colors on our plates are finally getting more vibrant again! I’m honestly falling more and more in love with these flatlays. It’s so inspiring to see how just a few fresh ingredients can tell a whole story from above.

Watermelon + Feta = My absolute number one. It’s simple, it’s Greek, and it’s authentic – exactly the way I like it. Adding these pomegranate "gems" brings that traditional touch of luck and abundance, while the strawberries are my personal way of welcoming spring with their sweetness and heart. It’s a true celebration of life on a plate! 🍉

Es ist völlig in Ordnung, die Traditionen des Landes zu leben, in dem man zuhause ist.
Und gleichzeitig ist es genauso wichtig, die eigenen Wurzeln nicht zu vergessen.
Man muss sich nicht entscheiden.
Man darf beides leben.
Wir nehmen uns aus beiden Welten das, was sich richtig anfühlt
das, was schön ist, was leicht ist, was Freude bringt.
Und genau das geben wir weiter.
Nicht alles. Nicht perfekt.
Aber ehrlich.
Denn am Ende geht es nicht darum, es „richtig“ zu machen,
sondern darum, unseren Kindern ein Gefühl mitzugeben:
von Zuhause, von Zugehörigkeit und von dem, was uns ausmacht.

It is completely okay to live the traditions of the country you call home.
And at the same time, it is just as important not to forget your own roots.
You don’t have to choose.
You are allowed to live both.
We take from both worlds what feels right —
what feels beautiful, what feels light, what brings joy.
And that is exactly what we pass on.
Not everything. Not perfectly.
But honestly.
Because in the end, it’s not about doing it “right.”
It’s about giving our children a feeling:
of home, of belonging, and of what makes us who we are.

Zwar ist gerade Ostern 🐣 – aber es gab auch ein ganz besonderes kleines „Ostergeschenk“: ein Geburtstagskind, das wir unbedingt noch festhalten mussten ✨

Eine spontane Anfrage, ein bisschen Chaos im Studio und ganz viel Lachen – und mittendrin ein Geburtstagskind, das einfach gestrahlt hat. In ihrer vollen Schönheit, genau so, wie sie ist 🖤

Und genau das möchte ich euch mitgeben: Lasst auch mal Fotos nur von euch machen. Nicht für andere. Nicht für irgendeinen Anlass. Sondern wirklich für euch selbst.

Denn das ist so viel mehr als „nur ein Shooting“.
Es ist Self-Care. Es ist Selbstliebe. Und es ist auch ein Stück Stolz – sich selbst zu sehen, sich wahrzunehmen und festzuhalten, wie man ist.

Viel zu selten machen wir das. Dabei ist es so wertvoll ✨

🇩🇪Tief unter mir das Tal, vor mir die Ewigkeit. In Meteora zu stehen bedeutet, die eigene Winzigkeit zu akzeptieren und darin eine tiefe Erdung zu finden.

Diese monumentale Höhe und die Stille der Klöster flößen eine Ehrfurcht ein, die man kaum in Worte fassen kann. Man sieht nicht nur eine Landschaft – man spürt das Vergehen der Zeit und einen tiefen Respekt vor der Natur.
