I finally changed my profile picture today after a very looooong time.
I was photographing the animal welfare march for Galgos earlier this year, and this shot of me happened by chance.

But it really captures who I am: Always with my camera, grinning openly and in a friendly way (though if you are apparently a jerk to animals or the environment, I can certainly show a whole different side) —because real life is hard enough as it is.

So much has changed lately—both within me and around me. So the old profile pic has to go, too.

When I think about our last horse photography trip to Spain, I think most of all about SNOW. Man, it snowed so incredibly much and so heavily that my Nikon Z8 wouldn't focus on the subjects anymore and also complained persistently about the long-lasting dampness.
