My lockdown script is in the selection at the Rome Independent Prisma Awards. So excited to see where this goes!

I had the idea about a year ago, but didn't really develop it until 2020 hit us with all its craziness. The isolation many of us felt this year turned out to be the perfect setting for me to write this.

It's scifi, but that's all i'm going to say for now.

Gestern durfte ich einem Meister lauschen - Werner Herzog.
'Wir sind die Erfinder des Kinos!'
Inspirierende Worte. Oft wenn man sich die ganz großen anhört, fühlt man sicher selber ganz klein und der Aufgabe des Filmemachens überhaupt nicht gewachsen. Herr Herzog aber hat die gegenteilige Wirkung. Gestern hat der Mann freigeschaufelt warum ich mich mal auf diesen Weg gemacht habe. Weil ich immernoch neugierig bin wie ein Kind. Weil ich seit ich denken kann Bilder in mir sammle. Weil mir Ideen, Stories und Poesie einfach so in den Kopf fallen ohne dass ich danach suche. Und heute bin ich wieder motivierter, inspirierter und zuversichtlicher. Danke!
