Death Kommander

I have to admit: This festival had some serious bad vibes. Friends of me aren't able to come, the delay of my own arrival and the fact, I fu***ng missed Zuriaake, the weather, the light (which doesn't exist in the first evening at all!), the drunken me on friday. But there was so much atmosphere under those trees. And I met some really cool people, I always wanted to meet. All together I really had a good time. Due to the fact, I picked the Death Kommander guys up from the airport, I thought, "my duty is done", so there are only bands I really wanted to take photos of.

I had the opportunity to take photos in the Czech Republic. Well... if you would have the opportunity to take photos of Bergrizen and Kroda, you would drive to Nyrsko too. I was a nice little fest, great atmosphere, a beautiful place in Bohemia. It was so great to finally see one of my absolute favorite-bands live on stage. It will be a pleasure to visit Nyrsko next year again!

From time to time, there is a newcomer in photography with a great, great potential. In the moment it is Chernij Bogatyr.

I worked with him since my early steps with DSLRs and for several months he has his own. And I have to admit in this short amount of time, there was a great increase of skill. He developed a nice own style of editing and composing images and it will be a pleasure to watch him grow further and spending our way in learning together.

Last and not least is there a proud feeling, when I see his results getting better and better. The knowledge of done something right.

Go and watch him. He deserves every like he can get.

The 22nd annual Under The Black Sun Festivals was again taking place in Friesack. It was hot. I mean: Really hot. Up to 40°C. But it was nice to meet beloved and new people, getting flashed by Nashmeh, made new Friends... Thanks to Triple Six, especially to Jorg, for the invitation. I really hope to get the opportunity for the next year's edition again.
