I think unless you've been to Eibsee, it's hard to believe that the color truly looks like *arms gesture wildly* THAT. Especially on an overcast day, the teal color is incredibly deep and vivid.
It's definitely one of those places that lives up to the hype, but that also means that with summer season almost in full swing, you should plan your visit wisely (at least if you want to enjoy it without the masses ; ))

A 12 hour flight, one night stay in Garmisch, and only a 6 hour window for the weather to cooperate - with the right plan, this still felt so easy and relaxed!

Texas meets Bavaria!
These high school sweethearts have been together for 15 years, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen keeps winning ‘favorite place in Germany’ every single time. I mean… with views like this, can you blame them? Between the mountains, the little cabins, and the very obvious main-character energy, this place is basically built for families and couples in love.

I have to catch up on sharing all my recent sessions, but for now I'm just letting you all know that spring is finally here to stay and the grass IS greener on the other side ; )
