On January 21, 2025, the heartwarming comedy HUNDSLINGER HOCHZEIT celebrated its successful premiere at the Rio Filmpalast in Munich!

A death and two rival inns threaten the peace of the previously idyllic village of Hundsling in Bavaria. Magdalena (Christina Baumer), the daughter of the “Rosi” inn, returns to her hometown for her mother’s funeral. Her father Xaver (Walter Schuster) is completely overwhelmed with running the family business and struggling against the competition from the second inn, “Casa Toni.” Magdalena hatches a plan to eliminate the rival inn, but this triggers a fierce conflict within the village. As tensions escalate, it becomes clear that things cannot continue this way. And then, love unexpectedly shakes things up...

The heartwarming comedy HUNDSLINGER HOCHZEIT is a loving tribute from producer and lead actress Christina Baumer to her homeland. In her debut film, the multitalented artist takes on the screenplay, direction, production, and one of the lead roles, capturing the essence and charm of Bavaria with local dialect, rustic warmth, and a sharp tone. Shot in the Tirschenreuth district and featuring a cast and crew primarily from the region, this is a true independent passion project, produced entirely without public funding but with a great deal of Bavarian entrepreneurial spirit and solidarity.

🎥 RABIA – DER VERLORENE TRAUM feierte seine Premiere am 25.01.2025 in den City Kinos München, wo auch Regisseurin Mareike Engelhardt anwesend war. Der Film erzählt das bewegende Schicksal zweier junger Frauen, die glaubten, im Islamischen Staat Anerkennung und privates Glück zu finden – und dafür einen hohen Preis zahlten. Regie führte Mareike Engelhardt, deren Arbeit auf jahrelanger Recherche und unzähligen Interviews mit Rückkehrerinnen aus Syrien basiert. Das Drehbuch wurde 2019 mit dem Arte KINO Preis ausgezeichnet. Die visuelle Umsetzung übernahm die renommierte französische Bildgestalterin Agnès Godard, während der Schnitt von der preisgekrönten Editorin Mathilde van de Moortel (MUSTANG, CELEBRITES) realisiert wurde.

Gedreht in Frankreich und Jordanien, ist der Film eine Produktion von FILMS GRAND HUIT in Koproduktion mit STARHAUS FILMPRODUKTION, KWASSA FILMS und ARTE France Cinéma, unterstützt durch Partner wie Canal +, Ciné +, CNC, FFA, EURIMAGES und viele weitere Förderungen.

Es war ein besonderer Abend in München, als Thomas Gottschalk bei der Lesung zu seinem neuen Buch tiefe Einblicke gewährte. Zwischen humorvollen Anekdoten und kritischen Worten über die TV-Welt zeigte sich Gottschalk so authentisch wie eh und je. Seine Gedanken über die Medienlandschaft und alte Weggefährten sorgten für viele Lacher – und regten gleichzeitig zum Nachdenken an.
