A year ago I exhibited my work for the first time. It was not an event in the classic sense - more of an inner gesture. Gentle, uncertain, but very honest. I wasn’t just exhibiting photographs. I was exhibiting myself. At the time - not knowing if there would be a reaction.
It’s been a year. And today I’ve been nominated for an international Fine Art Photograpy Awards
Selected. Noticed. Heard. Among hundreds of other artists from all over the world. And it’s more than just a formal gesture.
Because only a few people know how much work is behind that nomination. 100 and 100 emails. Most of the time, with no answer. Researching contests, filling out applications... Hundreds of tries to break through the silence... And every response is almost a miracle.
That’s why this nomination is a personal victory for me.
This photo will be available only in one print. In my gallery. With a certificate of authenticity. And with a Fine Art Photography Awards Certificate of Nomination. It’s an object with more invested in it than just a visual image.
I’ll post the story of its creation on Patreon and my OSpace Magazine on TG. I’ll also post the original frame there. Uncensored. No restrictions. As it was conceived.
I’m an independent artist. That means more freedom, but also more fragility. It’s a touch-and-feel journey. But when someone sees what you’re doing, it feels like a light, even when you’re in the dark.
I’m deeply grateful to my very closest friends who made this photo possible, especially Dani. Thank you ❤️
And, of course, a big thank you to FAPA (Fine Art Photography Awards) for hearing my voice ❤️
And, of course for all my Patreon and TG family who support my and my **e photography ❤️
