Recently i got an assignment to
produce a short series of black and white pictures. I don't usually do black and white, i don't like it so much and to be honest often think b&w pictures are overrated.

I was reluctant doing the exercise but took it as a challenge. Eventually it forced me to see things differently, seeing shapes instead of colours, lines amd frames and postioning the subject accordingly.

It boosted my creativity, and in the end an assignment that i thought would take me weeks, was eventually done in 2 hours...

The resulting pictures are in no mean masterpieces, but shoe how a constraint can foster creativity.
