Out here, homes don’t just belong to a place. They stand against it.

Scattered between cliffs, lost in the fog, surrounded by wind and ocean…each one feels like a quiet act of presence in a landscape that doesn’t try to make space for you.

No noise. No rush. Just a roof, a light, and the feeling that life goes on even in the wildest corners. Maybe that’s what makes them so fascinating. Not just how they look…but what they represent.

A reminder that even here, in a place shaped by the elements, someone chose to stay.

In the Faroe Islands, color comes and goes with the weather.

But light, contrast, and mood—that’s constant.
Black and white strips it back to what matters. Grain becomes part of the air, the fog, the moment itself.

I have shot a bunch of pictures with this great setup today. I will be posting some of those shots tomorrow as a reel, but also as a seperate post. What a great camera and lens combo to work with. Getting those wide angle shots and panoramas! Great fun.

Ik heb vandaag een heleboel foto’s gemaakt met deze geweldige setup. Morgen zal ik een aantal van die beelden posten als een reel, maar ook als een aparte post. Wat een geweldige combinatie van camera en lens om mee te werken. Maakt het schieten van wideangle beelden en panoramas maken zo ontzettend tof om te doen!

Een aantal test foto’s met de 150-600mm F5.6-8 van genomen vandaag. Mooie lens voor vogelfotografie en wat meer abstract werk. De vogels werkte best goed mee vandaag, haha.

Took a few test photos today with the 150-600mm F5.6-8 from . Nice lens for bird photography and some more abstract work. The birds cooperated today, haha. I look forward to using the lens some more soon and sharing photos! Photos taken with my FujiFilm XT4
