After two years of watching rare aurora alerts light up my phone… and doing absolutely nothing about it 😅 besides from night hike to the mountains with disappointment.
Tonight I finally got off my lazy ass, stepped outside in the cold, and looked up. And there it was.
Proof that sometimes the hardest part of chasing moments like this isn’t timing or luck— it’s just getting out the door.
First aurora captured. Worth every missed chance before it.
