The aurora eluded me on the first night, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next evening's celestial show. Setting out on a nocturnal hike at 21:30, I reached the summit under a moonlit sky around midnight. There, amidst a throng of fellow adventurers and shutterbugs, we awaited the elusive Lady Aurora's grand entrance. Despite all eyes scanning the northern horizon as instructed, her ethereal dance remained veiled.
As time trickled by, a chill settled in, mingling with the frustration of obscured wonders. Some surrendered to the cold and cloud-covered disappointment, drifting away into the night. Yet, a faint glimmer teased the steadfast, a mere echo of the previous night's brilliance.
By 2 am, only a handful of stalwarts remained, refusing to concede defeat. While others succumbed to slumber, I persisted, determined not to squander the fleeting hours. With resolve, I trained my lens upward, capturing not only the elusive aurora but also the mesmerizing tapestry of the Milky Way, etching the night sky with my own story of perseverance.
