The original plan was camp & hike around Mayrhofen, Austria. We started with our fingers crossed in fairly stable weather from munich. The closer we get to the mountains the weather was becoming worse. When we reached to the camping place at 21:00 (due to heavy traffic on friday) it was raining cats and dogs like Monsoon in Bangladesh. As a result, waiting inside the car and thinking of going back to home. The rain stopped after an hour or so. We managed to set our camp luckily before the rain started again. The whole night was raining. The morning started with sunshine and we are on the way to Olpererhütte hike.
The hike was not a very easy one but was not very stressfull to our legs although it was a rocky hike. Big chunks of rock made the hiking path exciting. The moment we arrived Olperhütte it started to become cloudy and the weather suddenly turns into a stormy one. We had to stay overnight in the Hut since an 11months old angel was with us there, the youngest member in our group. The night was exciting with on/off sleep due to hail storm, wind, thunderstorm...you name it...its there.
The next morning was pretty fresh and hopeful. We had out breakfast and walked few meters to the hanging bridge and the night stay paid off.. there was almost no one except us for the bridge. We embraced the moment to enjoy a little before the rain starts again. We got down safely this time with drizzling rain.
Everyone of us was wondering how a scary situation turns into an overall blissful adventurous experience to see the unseen...!
