★Kalinchok Bhagwati Temple is a Hindu shrine located in the eastern hilly region of Nepal, Kalinchowk Rural Municipality in Dolakha District. It is situated in Kalinchok Village at the altitude of 3,842 m from sea level. Kalinchowk is a destination for adventurous sports such as skiing during the winter season after the snowfall. Short hiking of about 1-2 hours from Kuri village to the Kainchowk temples is also common. This place has views of the snowy valley during the winter season and enjoys the snowfall. ★Panch Pokhari is situated at an elevation of about 4,100 m above sea level. This is a famous Hindu pilgrimage site in Nepal. Panch Pokhari trekking lies to the north of the Kathmandu valley; the chain of peaks called Jugal Himal that includes Dorje Lhakpa (6,966 m), Madiya (6,257 m) and Phurbi Chhyachu (6,637 m). This is a remote and unfrequented region, despite being close to Kathmandu.

★SHREE TRI DEVI TEMPLE★

_-_Tri Devi Temple has got a lot of stories about the mighty warrior Bada Kaji Amar Singh Thapa. His son Randhwaj Thapa constructed this temple during 1865 BS. Legend states that Bada Kaji Amar Singh Thapa established these statues from three different places of the ancient Nepal. Legend has it that Amar Singh Thapa established the Kamarukamaksha idol from Guwahati, Assam, Dakshinkali from the central part of Nepal and Jawalamai Devi from the west. The temple of Kamarukamaksha is only here in Nepal.

★THE GARDEN OF DREAMS★

_-_Located in Kaiser Mahal which is across the street from the former Royal Palace at the entrance to the Thamel tourist area, the Garden was made famous as the Garden of Six Seasons created for Field Marshal Kaiser Sumsher Rana (1892–1964), in early 1920. The Garden, which featured a design inspired by the Edwardian style, was considered one of the most sophisticated private gardens of that time. Landscape architect Kishore Narshingh, designer of Singha Durbar and architect to Shumsher's father, the Maharaja, designed and supervised the construction of the Garden of Dreams.

_-_The stupa is mentioned in an inscription of 1552AD (Nepal Sambat 762). It says that the golden pinnacle of the chaitya was donated by Megharaja in memory of his deceased son. He also established the guthi to perform annual commemoration. This guthi is closely related to the priests of nearby Kwa-baha. The stupa was repaired during the reign of king Pratap Malla (1624–74 AD). In 1647, the chaitya was de-consecrated, but restored by Vajracharya in 1653.

_About Us-
The 300-year-old historic ponds Nigu Pukhu, locally called ‘dui pokhari’ (two ponds) in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, has been restored to its original state from Wednesday.
The Municipality has reconstructed its historic pond and turned it into the original form by filling it with water, which was a football ground and invaded by grass and weeds until two years ago.
The municipality has started a conservation campaign of the famous historical Nigu Pukhu and its surrounding party-pauwas (resting places) at an estimated cost of Rs. 130 million. The reconstruction of the two ponds was completed at Rs. 30 million, said Mayor of the Municipality Madan Sundar Shrestha.
After completing the reconstruction, water has been filled for the upcoming Biska Jatra on Baishak 1 (festival is celebrated at the start of the New Year in the Bikram Sambat calendar). The municipality had completed the reconstruction of one of the two ponds and filled it with water for the last Biska Jatra.
According to Mayor Shrestha, the ponds have been constructed using Dachi Appa bricks known as teliya ita so that the water does not dry out.

★JIRI is a municipality in Dolakha District in the Bagmati Province of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 13,638 people. Jiri, which lies about 190 kilometers from Kathmandu, is the main gateway to the Everest Region. Almost all the Everest expeditions, including the one led by famous climber John Hunt, Edmund Hillary had passed through Jiri. A company of the Nepal Army is stationed in town and visitors' equipment and backpacks might be searched. There are a number of lodges available along either side of the main road mainly in Jiri Bazaar.

★- About Ceremony:
In Nepal, when girls turn into the age of 7 or 8 (usually 7) they are given a “GUNYO CHOLO” which is a traditional dress like the picture above which includes a cholo (top/blouse) and a sari (skirt like) and lots of jewelleries. This is to symbolise that she is slowing turning into a woman soon. It is a very typical tradition held for all Nepalese girls no matter where you are born or raised when you reach this age this ceremony will take place.

This little girl here is my niece and she has officially turned age 7 and she has been given the “GUNYO CHOLO” to symbolise for “coming age of a girl”. Usually they wear different jewellery set a little similar but because she is a “Limbu” one of the cast in Nepal she is wearing a traditional LIMBU jewellery “Sesephung (in Limbu) also called Sirbandi (in Nepali) which is a forehead piece with coral moon”, Yarling (in Limbu) – Lotus bud shaped earrings, Mundri (in Limbu) bullaki (in Nepali) which is the nose piece, Kantha– necklace with golden beads and red felt and Yangyichi (in Limbu) or Reji (in Nepali) the long silver coin necklace. Last but not least her “GUNYO CHOLO” which completes the look this ceremony.

♥----Dakshinkali Temple, also Dakshin Kali Temple or Dakshina Kali Temple, located 22 kilometres (14 mi) outside Kathmandu and about 1 kilometre (0.6 mi) outside the village of Pharping, is one of the major Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to the goddess Kali. Dakshin Kali is typically shown with her right foot on Shiva's chest—while depictions showing Kali with her left foot on Shiva's chest depict the even more fearsome Vamakali (typically shown with her left foot on Shiva's chest). Animal sacrifices, particularly of cockerels and uncastrated male goats, are the main way that the goddess is worshipped, and this is especially seen during the Dashain festival. Dakshin Kali Temple has also the same religious value as Pashupatinath Temple and Manakamana Temple in Nepal. The temple has more tourist attractions as it is a popular hiking destination located near Pharping village in Nepal. Mother Dakshinakali is the most popular form of Kali. She is the benevolent mother, who protects her devotees and children from mishaps and misfortunes.
