Every now and then you photograph a wedding that tells you exactly who you want to work with. This was one of those weddings for us. Every conversation felt easy, every moment felt natural and by the end of the day, it was obvious. These are exactly the kinds of people we hope to keep meeting, wherever this job takes us.

For years we had this dream of photographing a wedding in London entirely on film. Last weekend, Chu & Xavier made that dream come true. From a quiet morning at home to their ceremony at Islington Town Hall, a long lunch in a classic London restaurant and an evening at The House of Koko, the whole day felt effortless in the best possible way.

We photographed everything on film and if I had to sum up the day, it would be this: lots of kissing, great style, wonderful people and an atmosphere so relaxed and joyful that you almost forgot it was a wedding day.

Chu & Xavier were the warmest hosts, their guests were an absolute delight and being there felt less like work and more like being invited into something genuinely special. I think you can see that in the photos.

Two beautiful days in Puglia with Mariella & Sammy, who gave us exactly what every creative hopes for: trust and the space to experiment and create. We feel incredibly lucky with the people who choose us.

The weekend started with the most relaxed evening in Lecce and unfolded into a celebration full of energy and genuinely wonderful people. We photographed and filmed everything across digital, 35mm film, video and drone alongside the incredibly professional team at at the beautiful .

This was one of the weddings we photographed almost entirely on film over the past few years and we keep feeling more and more drawn to working this way. It feels less polished, less controlled, more alive. The grain, the colours, the imperfections all make the images feel more human to us.

This year we’ll photograph several weddings primarily on film and we honestly can’t wait. Wedding season starts again in two weeks. Puglia, London, Tuscany. Small intimate gatherings and large multi-day celebrations.

The off-season always feels a little too long. We’re very ready to be back.

Most of our weddings take us abroad, often to places like Italy or Spain and sometimes we also photograph the civil ceremony beforehand. In this case, it happened in Germany, one week before the wedding in Mallorca.

Starting with a smaller, more intimate setting opens the door to the people around the couple. By the time we meet again on the wedding day, there’s already familiarity, trust and a real connection. And that changes everything in how we photograph.

We often get asked about the most beautiful place we’ve ever photographed. Masseria Moroseta is right at the top of that list.

A quiet, striking place near Ostuni in Puglia that stayed on our minds long before we ever worked there. We used to come back to it again and again in a book about Italy’s most beautiful hotels, pages left open, imagining what it would feel like to photograph a wedding there.

And then, not long after, an inquiry from Ines and Michael came in. For that exact place.

We showed up as a team of four, working across digital, 35mm, video, and Super 8. It was a lot. Long days, full focus, everything moving at once.

Looking at it now, it was more than worth it. And we’re very excited to be back this year.
