🇮🇹 Felix im Frühling unter dem Motto „Die Mendelssohns und Italien“: DAY 3!
In der Sonntagsmatinée luden Natalia Pegarkova und Michael Barenboim das Publikum zu einer Entdeckungsreise durch die italienische Klangwelt ein – mit Werken von Ferruccio Busoni, Mario Pilati und Luciano Berio.
Abgerundet wurde dieser musikalische Dialog durch die Sonate für Violine und Klavier f-Moll op. 4 von Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy; als Zugabe erklang sein Gondellied.
Herzlichen Dank an die beiden Ausnahmekünstler für diesen besonderen Konzertvormittag. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ihren nächsten Besuch im Mendelssohn-Haus Leipzig!

🇮🇹 „Felix in Spring“ under the theme „The Mendelssohns and Italy”: DAY 3!
At the Sunday matinée, Natalia Pegarkova and Michael Barenboim invited the audience on a journey through the Italian soundscape, featuring works by Ferruccio Busoni, Mario Pilati, and Luciano Berio.
This musical dialogue was rounded off with the Violin Sonata in F minor, Op. 4 by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy; as well as his „Gondellied“ („Gondola Song”) as an Encore.
Many thanks to these two exceptional artists for this special concert morning. We are already looking forward to welcoming them back to the Mendelssohn-Haus Leipzig!
