Studio day, big pink wall, and a small mountain of gear doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Sony cameras linked up through the Monitor & Control app, Sirui lights blasting colour into the room, Hollyland audio keeping everything clean, and me trying to look like I planned it all that way from the start.

Photographers love talking about cameras, lenses, codecs… all the fun stuff.

What we don’t talk about enough is the fitness part of the job.

Long wedding days, cameras hanging off both shoulders, running backwards during confetti, crouching, climbing, carrying bags that feel like small suitcases… it’s basically a full-body workout disguised as a creative career.

So staying fit is part of the job.

This weekend spectacular content creator Tom Tom was visiting Berlin and decided to join my workout routine. Slightly less glamorous than shooting content… a bit more sweat involved… but he survived 😅

Strong legs, steady hands, better photos.

Turns out photographers might secretly be athletes.
