These are the latest images which I did edit. They were taken at the so called RIESENBURG (guess where - Yes! Franconia!!) together with our amazing model Vicki. It was a great shooting and the place is just awesome. It has been a cave many million years ago and then the top broke down, since then it's a open place - looking from the front just as the castle of the GIANTS. Currently I try to make a video out of these images, animate them with the open source software BLENDER. But it's all so complicated and will take me many more hours to finish - but anyway it will be worth all that work!!!

These images were taken together with our model Julia at the "Druidenhain" close to the Walberla spot in Franconia. I knew that place for quite some time, but never thought about going there for a photo shooting. But it was a brilliant choice, that place is truly mystical, all these huge stones, surrounded by the beautiful woods - truly a home of the druids. Just these days I was inspired to make a short video out of these images - I will post it later for you guys...

Below you can find a link to a video of the Walberla shooting on my Youtube channel. I did that one about one year ago, that time I did still use my old synth sounds, so it's maybe a bit odd. In the meantime I took some composition classes and hope I did improve a bit ;) ;) But I still do like that one, it's has a special vibe I really like and think it does match my feelings about that place...

I just realized that it's already decades ago that I did post anything here. So let's start with a photo shooting we had some time ago with Lisa van Li at the Walberla in Franconia. A truly amazing place and I can see it every morning from my balcony. I always was fascinated by that place, spent so much time there for photography. So it was just a matter of time until I would choose that spot for a photo shooting. Some of you might remember these pictures as I might have posted them somewhere else already...

HK backyards views – something one can see everyday there is that the gap between the rich and the poor is growing day by day. Sometimes it's simply unbelievable under which living condition people live their life there. These pics are some of the good ones, the others I don't want to share. But it always reminds me that people in the western countries often complain on a very high level. We do have nice houses, pension schemes and insurances for nearly everything, but many other people haven't...

Photographic walk through Shekou – the place where I lived in Shenzhen. Just behind my apartment “real” China started. The chicken feet got dried next to the street, the children were playing outside until midnight in between all the shops&street kitchen and everywhere you could discover new things, smell new flavors. Every day was like a discovery tour through new territory. And I guess exactly this busy street life is what I missed most when I moved back to Germany. My Chinese friends always had a saying: Germany is clean, has lovely nature and nice cars but at the end it's a bit boring – I think now I understand what they wanted to say...

Hongkong Mid-Levels escalator and walking system. It's the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world. The area is in HK Central and links Queen's Road Central with Coduit Road in the Mid-Levels. The area is covered with many nice restaurants and bars full of vibrant night-life. It's a good place to enjoy leisure life, walk around and a perfect place for photography.
