🥚🫧 A little bubble nest, a new generation in the making! 😍🐟

A fascinating moment with Malpulutta kretseri! The male carefully places the eggs among the bubbles, adding more bubbles to the nest as he goes. 🫧❤️

It’s amazing to watch these little fish follow their natural instincts. Every movement has a purpose, and witnessing this delicate breeding behaviour up close makes keeping and observing these species even more rewarding.

Sometimes, the smallest moments in an aquarium are the most special ones. 🌿💧 Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a new generation of these beautiful and lesser-known fish! 🤞🏻🥚

Have you ever witnessed Malpulutta kretseri spawning? 👇😍

Not everything turns out the way we hope, and not everything has to be perfect. 🐟

This is the only egg that survived from the L046 breeding attempt. The first-time father pushed this egg out of the cave and later ate the rest of the clutch.

As you can see, it doesn’t have the best shape, but not everything in life is perfect. Hopefully, this little one will make it! 💪🏻

Fingers crossed for this tiny Zebra Pleco. 🤞🏻🖤
