Memmingen - Wallensteinfestspiele

Every four years in Memmingen thousands of people partecipate to the largest historical festival in Europe. The Wallenstein Festival reenact the stay of Albrecht Wenzel Eusebius von Waldstein, also known as Wallenstein, who was the supreme commander of the imperial forces of the Holy Roman Empire during the Thirty Years' War.

Ogni quattro anni a Memmingen migliaia di persone partecipano al più grande festival storico d'Europa. Il Festival di Wallenstein rievoca il soggiorno di Albrecht Wenzel Eusebius von Waldstein, noto anche come Wallenstein, che fu il comandante supremo delle forze imperiali del Sacro Romano Impero durante la Guerra dei Trent'anni.

A "Domschweizer" admires the Cologne Cathedral's central nave, which has the highest height to width ratio of any nave and is the longest nave in Germany. The Domschweizer or Kirchenschweizer (litterally Swiss churchmen) are in charge of supervision during the opening hours of the Cathedral.

This building is in my opinion the most interesting site in Takayama. A Jin'ya (陣屋) was the government headquarters under the Tokugawa shogunate and this is the only surviving outpost of its kind.

Fujio) created several popular manga series, like Perman, Ninja Hattori and last but not least, the japanese icon Doraemon
