Since 2012, UNESCO has reported a global decline in freedom of expression; attacks on journalists, scientists, and activists have intensified, particularly since 2022. Freedom House reports that for 19 consecutive years, global freedom has been declining rather than increasing — and of all the civil rights measured, has eroded the most. are universally valid and cannot be separated. Therefore my concept series asks the question: What is humanity leaving behind?

„Campbell’s Soup Cans“ from Andy is a symbol for the uniformity of a consumer-oriented society but also for „consumption equality“ … saying that all people - rich and poor - should be able to afford basic goods that contribute to their well-being and therefore be allowed to participate as equal members of society. But: consumer equality as well as are under pressure worldwide, primarily due to growing income and wealth inequality with consequences for personal dignity and participation.
