Ich hatte kürzlich die wunderbare Gelegenheit, den legendären Klaviervirtuosen und Steinway-Künstler Lang Lang zu fotografieren. Diese unglaubliche Session fand Anfang März während eines Konzerts in der historischen Steinway Manufaktur in Hamburg statt, bei dem auch die Manufakturarbeiter anwesend waren.

Lang Langs außergewöhnliches Talent und seine Leidenschaft festzuhalten, war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Atmosphäre des Konzerts, vor der Kulisse der Fabrik, machte den Tag noch besonderer.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Lang Lang und Steinway & Sons für diese großartige Gelegenheit. Momente wie diese befeuern meine Leidenschaft für die Fotografie und erinnern mich daran, warum ich meinen Beruf liebe.

I recently had the unique opportunity to photograph the legendary piano virtuoso and Steinway artist Lang Lang. This incredible session took place during a mesmerizing daytime concert he performed at the historic Steinway factory in Hamburg at the start of March during which the people who produce the pianos were also present.

Capturing Lang Lang’s extraordinary talent and passion was an unforgettable experience. The concert’s ambiance, set against the backdrop of the Steinway factory, made the day even more special.

A heartfelt thank you to Lang Lang and Steinway & Sons for this amazing opportunity. Moments like these fuel my passion for photography and remind me why I love what I do.

I like to use the first month of the year to reflect on the one that is over because it shows me how I have developed during the past 12 months. What I also realise is that not everything I learned can be seen in my work – a great deal happens in the head! And that is equally as exciting as seeing my developmental curve!

And you know what I learn each and every year? That I absolutely love capturing people!
