Located in the southern Harz region of Saxony-Anhalt, Stolberg is a historic town known for its well-preserved half-timbered houses, narrow streets, and traditional architecture. There’s something truly magical about Goslar in autumn. Its charming half-timbered houses, winding cobblestone streets, and centuries-old architecture make the historic town feel like a scene from a fairytale.

At the heart of the old town, the magnificent Market Square is a highlight. The ornate red façade of the Gildehaus Kaiserworth, adorned with golden figures, stands proudly among the colourful historic buildings. Nearby, narrow lanes reveal hidden corners, picturesque doorways, and leaves scattered across the cobblestones. little details that make wandering here such a pleasure. 🏡

Wernigerode is famous for its colourful half-timbered houses, charming cobblestone streets, and enchanting medieval atmosphere.

Its historic Market Square is home to the spectacular Town Hall, admired for its distinctive half-timbered architecture. Other fascinating sights include the Schiefes Haus (Crooked House) and the Kleinste Haus (Smallest House), two unique buildings that add even more character to the Old Town.

Wernigerode is also a gateway to the beautiful Harz Mountains and the Brocken, the highest peak in the range at approximately 1,141 metres. The historic Harz narrow-gauge railway offers unforgettable steam-train journeys through forests and stunning mountain landscapes.
