Seeing Double, the next piece from the blue hour fog. Let me share something with you that I noticed while working on this image.

As I was going through my selects from that week, I realised that I shot a couple of similar frames just the day before, trying to line up the building on the right hand side. That morning we were out with some photographer friends, hoping for the fog to arrive. It was a no show.

Anyway, the composition practice must have stuck with me for the next morning. Even if I haven’t realise that while snapping the shot. Funny how sometimes there’s this unconscious echo in the process. Do you experience that too sometimes in your photography?

Some locations always deserve a short stop. Even more so in foggy conditions. I mean, of course I had to. But that does not mean that you can not play around and take a less obvious shot.
