This was one of those days.

Schloss Landau gave them the backdrop. But they gave it meaning. In the way he looked at her walking up those stairs. In the way she laughed when the world around them blurred. In the champagne they raised before anyone told them to.

one wedding for the books.

There’s something about heat that strips everything back. No one’s thinking about how they look. No one’s holding back. You just melt into each other and into the moment.

That’s when the real photos happen.

Das ist ein Dienstagabend voller Lachen,
Flugzeug-Arme um Mamas Babybauch
und der Versuch, alle gleichzeitig
im Bild zu halten, natürlich unmöglich,

This is why I love elopements:

No timeline telling you when to feel.
No room full of eyes waiting for the right moment.
Just you, the person you chose,
and all the space in the world to simply be.

Fuerteventura gave them exactly that,
sandstone, wind, silence,
and all the space to just breathe.

There’s a kind of freedom
that only shows itself when nothing is planned.
And that freedom?
It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever photographed.
