There's only about one week left to see the puffins in Iceland.

Right at this location, the puffins are getting the ultimate send-off: a total solar eclipse peaking at 17:44 local time, just days before they leave the cliffs.

By mid August, millions of puffins head back out to the open ocean almost overnight for the winter.

Between two continents.

Snorkelling in the Silfra Fissure is like floating through space. The water is filtered through lava rock for decades, making it some of the clearest, and coldest (2°C), on Earth.

Definitely one of the most surreal experiences I've had in Iceland so far.
