A Movie Shot and Produced in Germany. "Voice of Refugees"
is a film inspired by the true story of the lives of refugees living in Europe, particularly Germany.
It's an illustrative depiction of the horrifying Journey of Young ambitious Africans who lived and worked professionally in their home countries,
a twist of fortune laced with a broken and frustrating system of Governance, unaffordable poor healthcare, negligence and run away corruption, dares them to embark on a dangerous journey across the Sahara desert and Mediterranean sea to Germany. "The Promised Land"
Along the way many lives are lost, on reaching the promised land, they are confronted with a harsh reality of police brutality, racism and marginalization.
Determined to re-write history through art & cultural performance, the film seeks to re-tell the pre & post-colonial history of Africa, re-educate kids on the untold narratives of Africa and inspire hope to all refugees, promote human rights and support legal migration across the World

EChange.02 is one of Farafina Institute’s international youth exchange projects. The project creates an exchange between young change-makers from Eswatini, Germany, Ghana, Kenya and Zambia who want to become active in the priorities of the Africa-EU partnership, especially for the priority areas ‘Investing in people’ and ‘Strengthening resilience, peace, security and governance’.
