Want to elope but don't feel like leaving your dogs behind? 🐶 Well, just bring them along for the ride!

This day in Sweden was so, so much fun and honestly one of my favorite elopements ever. We really put the "adventure" in "adventure elopement" and did a full-day, almost 9km / 5.6mi long hike through one of the most beautiful nationalparks ever.

From lakes, to forests, to canyons, to mountains – this one had it all 🇸🇪

It's also a great example for a day that had both a legally binding ceremony, AND a intimate, symbolic one with vows.

Back at the parking lot, everyone except the dogs was absolutely beat. There's no better feeling though. If you know, you know. And yes, you can hike in a dress and suit, don't worry. You'll actually look pretty cool.

Finally got to be back in one of my favorite places for a proper Irish elopement last month and found myself in the strongest storm I have ever seen 😅 The night before was absolutely crazy – my AirBnb (aka a caravan) was literally shaking all night. The next morning, things had thankfully calmed down a little.

Bailey & Owen were blessed with some classic Irish rainy wind and stormy skies, which couldn't have been any more perfect. Such a fun and relaxed day, I can't wait to be back again in a few months.

Since I've been there a couple of times now, I'm actually currently working on an elopement guide for this very region in Ireland. The Di**le Peninsula is so breathtakingly beautiful and I cannot wait to share the guide soon.

This is what a 2-day elopement gets you! ✨ Adding just a few more hours (or even another 8-10h) to a second day allows for even more flexibility and is the perfect opportunity for epic sunrise photos or crossing a few more dream locations off your list.

Or maybe there's a fun activity you'd love to do as part of your elopement story, like a longer hike, a canoe ride, or a horseback tour.

It's also amazing for couples who elope with guests. Spend your first day with them and keep the second one all for yourself to get the best of both worlds.
