We are thrilled to announce that our new album “Apollo & Marsyas” will be released in early October by GENUIN classics | recording ! 🥁💿💿💿💿🥁
Last week, together with the team from Lux Studio Productions , we filmed several videos for the album in a truly spectacular location: the collection of plaster casts of ancient sculptures at the Archaeological Institute of the University of Göttingen. 🏛️🎬
On Apollo & Marsyas, we tell the story of our namesake Marsyas, who challenged Apollo to a musical contest—with fatal consequences. It was an incredible experience to film surrounded by Greek sculptures, some of which even depict scenes from this very myth. The atmosphere of the collection could not have been a more fitting backdrop for bringing this story to life.
A big thank you to the Archaeological Institute of the University of Göttingen for their warm hospitality and for allowing us to work in such a remarkable setting.
