Hello from the Malalcahuello National Reserve. I know it's raining in Cluj/Romania, sorry, not sorry 🙂 We had rain as well, so we didn't see the volcano. But we had this amazing atmosphere and a very nice rainbow to tide us over. We have travelled 11000 km by now, and we still have a long way to go. Are you still with us? 🙂

Salutări din Malalcahuello National Reserve. Auzim că în Cluj nu scapă lumea de ploaie, stați liniștiți, nici la noi n-a fost mai bine. N-am văzut vulcanul din acest motiv, dar ne bucurăm de atmosfera asta frumoasă (pe care o puteți observa în fotografii).
Ploaie in cea mai mare parte a timpului, vulcanul nu l-am văzut pentru că ploaie. Vestea bună e că am avut curcubeul nostru 🙂
Avem 11000 de km făcuți până acum și începem să-i resimțim. Voi cm sunteți?

I've promised you some pictures, here they are, freshly baked in the oven. These were taken in the last couple of days last in Patagonia National Park. I won't give any details, I think the pictures speak from themselves. After Norway (Lofoten island) I said to myself it will be hard to reach to a landscape I could love more. But here we are. I absolutely loved Perito Moreno and Fitz Roy, they made me think about the way we destroy this perfect planet with our global warming and consumerism. An equilibrium built in thousands of years that we will destroy in a few hundred.

Now we are leaving this beautiful space and we are currently headed to the border with Chile and the so-called „land of lakes”. Do you have questions? Like the pictures? :)

Mi-am dat seama că n-am mai pus de mult poze aici. În mintea mea Facebook-ul e mai degrabă pentru povești, Instagramul e pentru poze (wink, wink). Însă uite, pornim cu un album despre Parcul Național Patagonia din ultimele două zile. După Norvegia (sau mai exact insula Lofoten) n-am crezut că o să găsesc un peisaj care să mă uimească. Însă Torres del Pain a fost exact picătura care a umplut paharul. Apoi Perito Moreno, iar Fitz Roy, așa în ceață cm l-am prins, mi-a pus capac. Patagonia m-a făcut să mă gândesc la realitatea încălzirii globale, la distrugerea unui echilibru ce a domnit atâtea mii de ani. Mi-a fost dor de munte, natură și libertate.

Suntem aproape de granița cu Chile și suntem dispuși să răspundem la întrebări dacă aveți curiozități :) Vă plac pozele?

Me in South America, my works in Vienna, thank you, globalisation! 🙂 I had the honour to have a part of the works from my Mongolia exhibition in Weltmuseum Wien, here are some photos of how that went. I feel so happy about getting this recognition, to have my work in such an amazing museum.

Eu în America de Sud, fotografiile mele în Viena 🙂 Beneficiile globalizării (să mergeți la vot, da? ca să mai avem oportunități din astea). Mai jos câteva imagini de la expoziția desfășurată la Weltmuseum Wien, o parte din lucrările mele despre Mongolia au fost expuse acolo. Mulțumesc Andrei pentru ajutorul ei neprețuit.

I can't believe our last message was written on the 28th of January, time flew by and we didn't get the chance to keep you up to date with our news. We promise to share all the stories that you missed and even more, we'll keep you posted through our trips. We are currently in South America, in Tierra del Fuego, and we did face some challenges on our way here, but we'll talk about that later. Now we want to share the story of this photo 🙂

We took a batch of catalogues with photos from my portfolio with us, to hand them out as gifts. They were so well received and people liked them so much that we received food, a place to sleep and other presents in exchange. One really beautiful present was this flower. I liked it so much that I've given up coffee and gave it the space for my coffee mug, it was our new companion and it made me happy.
Sadly, after 2000 km, I had to give it up. The road bumps made the soil too compact and rocky and the plant was slowly dying. So we keep this picture as a memory and a reminder that sometimes, we have to give up things we love simply because our ways are too different.

Știu că am lipsit de aici dar să fiți siguri că am lipsit cu „motivație” și pot să vă aduc și scutire, revin cu detalii în postările următoare 🙂 Deocamdată, simple și călduroase salutări din America de Sud, mai exact din Tierra del Fuego, și o scurtă poveste legată de fotografia din imagine.

Am luat la noi cataloage cu fotografiile mele, pe care le-am făcut cadou oamenilor. Au fost atât de apreciate, încât am primit în schimbul lor mâncare, loc de dormit și alte cadouri, printre care un ghiveci cu flori. Mie mi-a plăcut atât de mult încât am renunțat la cafea, doar pentru a avea suportul de pahare liber pentru el. Din păcate, după 2000 de km am fost nevoită să-l dau cadou la rândul meu, pentru că de la trepidații, pământul se așezase atât de bine în ghiveci că devenise piatră. Așa că floarea a devenit o amintire plăcută și o lecție de viață. Așa se întâmplă uneori, trebuie să lăsăm în urmă lucruri la care ținem, doar pentru că s-ar putea ca drumul nostru să nu le facă lor bine.
