I also wanted to see how my little Polaroid Gen 2 would hold up during a proper photoshoot and not just snapshots. And I have to say it performed pretty well! Due to the smaller pods, Go film is prone to expiring faster, hence the rosy tint. But you know me, I love the colour shift! 💖 Thanks again to the amazing Marina Päsler for braving the heat and still being able to pull off beautiful poses like this 🫶

It’s time to share the results from the wonderful Polaroid shoot with the lovely Marina Päsler ✨ Despite the hot temperatures end of June, we went to a beautiful lake in Duisburg to translate the dreamy vision I had in mind into tangible Polaroids. End of June, my Polaroid buddy Ray Liu came all the way from London to Essen to visit and shoot a video about my Polaroid photography for his Youtube series „Friends with Polarods“! We‘ve met during the InstantArt Arles/Paris in Paris in 2018 in person for the first time, but I surely was familiar with his stunning work long before. On our first day, I took Ray to Zeche Zollverein to shoot some Polaroids, and here is one of them ✨ I shot this Polaroid with one of my favourite filters, my magic fairy filter wand (you can see me waving with it in the beginning of the video). When Ray Liu visited me end of June, I certainly also had to drag him to Zeche Zollverein in the hopes that the most famous sight of Essen would be to the liking of a well-traveled Londoner. Luckily, he liked it a lot, despite the insane temperatures that day ✨ When we went up the escalator to the Ruhr Museum, he asked me to quickly sit down on the stairs to take a Polaroid of me, so I certainly obliged and we got a shot that I actually like ☺️

As I currently have enough time I can finally share these shots! They‘re already from June, when my Polapal Daniela Müntinga took me to her former hometown Wuppertal and showed me around on a little photowalk ☺️ It was a very lovely afternoon with lots of Polaroid geekery and laughter 🫶 (first photo shot by Daniela Müntinga with Polaroid Go Gen 2, all others shot with Polaroid I-2 or Polaroid Gen 2)

Watching GERMANY*S NEXT TOPMODEL has been one of my guilty pleasures since forever, I especially love watching the different shoots and seeing the candidates evolve throughout the season. marlene was one of the candidates who really stood out to me in this year’s season because of her sweet personality and her beauty, and yesterday I had the immense pleasure to do a Polaroid shoot with her! It was really such a joy to work with her and so effortless 🫶 I absolutely love the results ✨

EEEEK!!! 😁 I'm actually so excited to share this video! My Polaroid buddy rliu came all the way from London to visit me in Essen to shoot a video for his "Friends with Polaroids" series on Youtube with me! We spent two lovely days in the scorching heat end of June and he asked me all about my photography and tagged along with his camera for a wonderful shoot with the overall amazing vanspookypants - and this is the result! 🖤
