The Konrad Zuse School of Excellence in Reliable AI (relAI) offers funding and an additional interdisciplinary AI programme for outstanding master’s students at Technische Universität München - TUM (TUM) or LMU Klinikum (LMU). Applications are welcome only from excellent German and international students enrolled in, or in the process of enrolling in, master’s programmes in AI-related disciplines.
Research areas include the mathematical and algorithmic foundations of reliable AI, learning and instruction, algorithmic decision-making, medicine and healthcare, and robotics and interacting systems.
As a selected relAI master’s student, you can expect:
✅ Cross-sectional training, professional development courses, and opportunities for practical experience through internships, project groups, and guided research
✅ Funding of up to 992 euros per month
✅ Travel grants
What you need to apply:
✅ Excellent bachelor’s degree
✅ Interest in working on the topic of reliable AI, covering aspects such as safety, security, privacy, and responsibility
✅ Certified proficiency in English
