Als freier Fotograf bereise ich seit vielen Jahren Städte und Landschaften, portraitiere Menschen und Unternehmen. In der Zeit, in der ich nicht mit der Kamera unterwegs bin, arbeite ich als Designer und Art Director. Beide Tätigkeiten schulen das visuelle Gespür für außergewöhnliche Perspektiven und Motive. Zur Zeit habe ich mein Basiscamp in Bielefeld, Nordrhein-Westfalen aufgeschlagen. Immer is

t es das besondere Bild, das heraussticht und berührt. Egal, ob es sich beim Motiv um eine Landschaft, einen Mensch oder ein Unternehmen handelt. Mein Anspruch ist es, Gewohntes aus einem neuen Blickwinkel zu zeigen, das Wesentliche auf überraschende Weise sichtbar zu machen. Wenn das gelingt, freue ich mich jedes Mal über die Reaktion des Betrachters: WOW!

WE MET IN A PARKING LOT…

on a hot spring day in Nashville. had a meeting not far from there and we had like 20 minutes to take some cool shots. This is one of my favorites. I love the straight lines, the sunbeams as they lighten Lindsay’s hair, the shadows and the colors. It all came together perfect in my eyes.
