Hey,
we have been absent for quite a while now. Jo was working on her first photobook, which is about to be released soon (more info ) and Kat was busy rebuilding boats in Norway ( ), but now we are back together and just excited to dive back again into this magical world of performing arts.

We got still many shots from older work and would lile to share them with you.

VIRIDIANA CALVO & JAIR LUNA (Kolumbien /Berlin)

After working for 12 years together in the project “El Colegio del Cuerpo”, they moved to Europe to continue their artistic careers, following different paths. 10 later they meet again in Berlin with a proposal for an encounter of dialogue and research to explore how their bodies have evolved in the years far from the nexus that linked them in Cartagena, Colombia. Plataforma provides them with the opportunity to come together again to rediscover the movement that used to bind them together.

How to confront death with a low budget and an interest into caretaking actions and slow time processes.

TONIGHT there will be a seconed show at DOCK 11 in Plataforma festival. Starts at 7pm.

The underlying idea for HOGAR is simple: if you legislate life, you legislate death. If life is the path to death, if life and death are the two faces of a coin, I tell myself: if you decorate life, then you should decorate death. And I ask myself: why doesn´t IKEA have a line of coffins? Dying is expensive, how could we do it more affordable? How could we improve the way we die? How do I want to dissapear? How long does it take to dissapear?
