Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre – Rising above the city of Paris, this beautiful basilica creates an atmosphere of being watched over by some kind of spiritual power. It was built between 1875 and 1914 by the architect Paul Abadie. You have an amazing view from the terrace over the whole city while you're eating a snack and sitting on the grass in the front of the building.
I wasn't able to catch the bird completely, but I kind of like that there's only a glimpse of it to see because it adds something living and more dynamic to the picture - like the contrast between this old, massive building and the vibrant, huge city life of Paris............⠀
Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre – Diese wunderschöne Basilika erhebt sich über Paris und kreiert eine Art von spiritueller Atmosphere. Sie wurde zwischen 1875 und 1914 vom Architekten Paul Abadie erbaut und man hat einen großartigen Ausblick von der Terrasse aus während man auf der Grasfläche vor dem Gebäude sitzt und einen Pausensnack zu sich nimmt.
Ich habe es zwar nicht geschafft den Vogel oben im Bild ganz einzufangen, aber dennoch mag ich das irgendwie. Er steht für etwas Dynamisches im Kontrast zum massiven Gebäude wie auch die große, lebendige Stadt Paris.
