Enjoying the feeling of the sun slipping away, giving way to the darkness of the night. The session is almost over, less and less light, one more wave, another, the last one. It's hard to stop, an absurd feeling of being the last session forces you to wait for the next set. There is almost no light left, it doesn't matter, it is more important to glide over the sea, to enjoy one last time.

There is something special about the evening bath. Ending the day enjoying the last rays of sun on the peak is one of those pleasures of life that cannot be explained in words or pictures. It is something you have to experience in person. Most people have left the beach and one feels alone and delighted to face the sea for the last time, until the next day, until next year or until the next time, whenever and wherever.

El baño de la tarde tiene algo especial. Terminar el día disfrutando de los últimos rayos de sol en el pico es uno de esos placeres de la vida que no se pueden explicar con palabras ni con imágenes. Es algo que hay que vivir en persona. La mayoría gente se ha ido de la playa y uno se siente solo y encantado de enfrentarse al mar por última vez, hasta el día siguiente, hasta el año que viene o hasta el siguiente baño, cuándo y dónde sea.

Disfrutar als sentir como se escapa el sol, dejando paso a la oscuridad de la noche. Se acaba la sesión, cada vez queda menos luz, una ola más, otra, la última. Es difícil parar, una absurda sensación de ser el último baño fuerza a esperar a la siguiente serie. Casi no queda luz, da igual, es más importante deslizarse sobre el mar, disfrutar por última vez.

In the early hours of Thursday, 25 March 2021, the "Reiche-Kiez" in Berlin's Kreuzberg district continues to be occupied by several police units since before midday. Since the beginning of the week, a huge and expensive police force has been blocking and emptying several streets around the collective bar "Meuterei" at Reichebergerstr. 58 of cars and people. The little commercial activity, which the current pandemic measures allow, as well as the traffic of the neighbours in the area is interrupted by this almost military deployment of the police, whose purpose is to clear the premises of the "Meuterei" Collective.

From 06:00 different rallies and demonstrations take place, both on bikes and on foot, starting from different neighbourhoods to meet in Kreuzberg to protest against the eviction of the collective bar "Meuterei" from 08:00 in the morning.

The Berlin police manage to enter the premises of the "Meuterei" and evict 2 activists who were inside. Before and after, in all the streets around the venue, there are residents and activists protesting, some of them surprised and indignant at the police deployment and control.

Berlin police arrested a press photographer after a demonstration in solidarity with the "Meuterei" pub, which is to be evicted on Thursday 25 March. Over 1000 people demonstrated on Tuesday evening. The video shows some of the police violence used against the demonstrators. The call for the demonstration stated: "What we ask of those who want to destroy this space is that they do not count our nights, but their days. Because attacks on our spaces and structures are attacks on our lives and our lives must be defended accordingly".

La policía de Berlín detiene a un fotógrafo de prensa tras la manifestación en solidaridad con el pub "Meuterei" (El Motín), que será desalojado el jueves 25 de marzo. Más de 1000 personas se manifestaron el martes por la tarde. El vídeo muestra una parte de la violencia policial enmpleada contra los manifestantes. La convocatoria de la manifestación señalaba: "Lo que pedimos a quienes quieren destruir este espacio es que no cuenten nuestras noches, sino sus días. Porque los ataques a nuestros espacios y estructuras son ataques a nuestras vidas y éstas deben ser defendidas consecuentemente."

Spanish National Court (a special and exceptional high court created in 1977 by the fascist regime in Spain) has given rapper Pablo Hasél, 10 days to enter prison to serve a nine-month sentence for exalting terrorism and insulting the monarchy.

The rapper, whose real name is Pablo Rivadulla Duro, reported this himself on social media. The court has refused to suspend the sentence as it did with the first one which was handed down against him.

In his response to the decision on Twitter he posted: “I have been given 10 days to enter prison. In the end there has not been enough solidarity to stop this that affects most of us who do not have freedom of expression guaranteed. They are going to jail me for telling objective facts, but they will never keep me down. ”

February 1st 2018: Pablo Hasel attended to court “Audiencia Nacional”, where the prosecutor Daniel Campos Navas asks for two years of prison and nine months of prison and a fine of 40,500 euros for Hasel (or 5 more years of prison if he does´t pay). He is not the only one, many artists in Spain are victims of this state repression against freedom of speech.

Musicians and collectives met in Berlin on July 7 2017 to support the rappers Josep Valtonyc and Pablo Hasel, who have been sentenced to prison by the Spanish state for exercising their right to freedom of speech. The aim was to denunciate the current state of repression against the freedom of speech in Spain, in particular the circumstances since the new security law came into force, popularly known as the “gag law”.
