Contact me in German, English, Spanish or Dutch! I live and work as a photographer in Berlin and across Germany. I have been doing artist's photography for almost a decade now, first focusing on musicians, than slowly being dragged into the artists' and actors' scene. In the past few years I have been taking portraits of journalists, businesses, dancers, movie- and theatre actors, soon-to-be-mums

& dads and musicians just to name a few. I work with natural light primarily and 99% of my photographs are taken in “natural” surroundings like homes, working spaces, nature, cafés, streets,... Why? Because it gives each photo session a special colour, taste and story and makes each and every photo unique. A positive side-effect is that I have found that most of my nervous "clients" are much more relaxed when surrounded by their "natural habitat", accompanied by a nice conversation and comforted by a cup of tea or coffee. However I do offer studio photography, too, if it turns out you need the spotlights, the pure backgrounds and atmosphere a studio has to offer. I have no problems with improvising on the spot in order to get the pictures that you need. So even if you need last-minute professional looking portraits but don't have the time to rent a studio space I can help you achieve those stunning portraits! In general it is very important to me that my clients go home with a good feeling, feeling relaxed and confident. The clients need to get beautiful results, photographs that they really NEED and WANT and where they can recognize themselves 100%. Clients get as much time as they need in order to feel comfortable in front of the camera and I will do whatever is possible to create the perfect session! Das war ein wundervolles Shooting mit Johanna Bastian. In einem Buchladen wie ich ihn noch nie gesehen habe. So viele Bücher auf einem Haufen und ein Buchhändler mit einem großen Herz - nicht nur für Bücher, der (egal welchen Titel) mit einer Treffsicherheit aus einem Bücherturm heraus griff, dass mir die Ohren schlackerten. Natürlich ohne den Titel des Buches sehen zu können - nur anhand der Buchdicke....
