This is a fun one! Miss Scary Carrie and I did an impromptu photoshoot inside her apartment during golden hour on the final day of Anime Boston as we were relaxing after con. I've been sitting on these photos doing other work but I'm proud to share the first finished image from that little spur-of-the-moment session! Her style is so cool and fun, and the ambient light was 🫶 perfection.

What folks who follow the page but have never met me in person may not know is that I have multiple disabilities, and use a wheelchair. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, among other things. Another EDSer, cosplayer, metalhead, extremely talented model, and photographer is friend of the studio Miss Scary Carrie. At Anime Boston, (for which she hosted me), she also booked me to photograph one of her cosplays, and it was such an honor to photograph someone as talented as her. and a pleasure to work with one of my closest friends. Showing the beauty, talent, strength and charisma of disabled people in my photography is extremely important to me and part of my core ethos as a photographer. Look at how stunning Carrie is as this iconic, classic anime character, Rei Ayanami!
