Das Studio verfügt über eine Hohlkehle, einen Make-Up Bereich, eigene Dusche/Toiletten und liegt im Erdgeschoss. Die zentrale Lage am Hermannplatz ermöglicht spontanes einkaufen im Bauhaus, Karstadt, Conrad.

Last but not least: Lea Simon

An art director working at the intersection of image, film, and space. Trained in fashion, working across disciplines - directing and curating with a focus on connection, building exhibitions and formats that make room for bodies and stories that dominant aesthetics tend to overlook. A feminist perspective runs through everything she does.

At Common Ground she presents Mean Goddess - SPIT. A cinematic strike - part fashion film, part ritual, part f**k-you. A message to the patriarchy.

This , VELT Studio opens its doors — and its walls — to the people who make it what it is.
VELT is 120 people from everywhere. This is one of their stories.

Next up: Adilya Zhumabayeva.

An artist and fashion designer born and raised in Kazakhstan, whose culture, roots, and mythology remain a permanent part of everything she creates. Through her label KIELI, Adilya builds emotional and narrative worlds through clothing, storytelling, and image-making - exploring memory, transformation, and personal mythology.
At Common Ground she presents two works: Growing Pain, a textile installation reinterpreting the Kazakh wedding ritual through the folklore story of the swallow and the dragon - exploring female adulthood within traditional cultural systems. And a second work following a fallen cherub wandering through the human world, reflecting on anxiety, identity, emotional pressure, and transformation.

A director and visual artist based in Berlin, creating film and photography productions between avant-garde and pop - with a focus on fashion, music, and storytelling. Cinematic, high contrast, uncompromising. Currently building Off Script, a cinematic vertical series blending dark sarcasm with abstract visual language and narrative depth.
