Love that spot. It’s great to play around with reflections. Trying something new every time I have to switch trains here and the station never disappoints.
This time the U2 is eagerly waiting to start a race against its reflection.
⭐️ Photography Tip: it’s always worth looking out for reflections. That can be windows, puddles, lakes or real mirrors. Bring your lens close to the reflecting surface and see your scene double. Works for photos as well as for videos.

Most people never see Berlin like this — completely quiet, glowing, and almost unreal.
I took this shot at sunrise on a pretty cold morning at the Bode Museum, and moments like these remind me why I fell in love with photographing this city more than 15 years ago.

👉 If you want better sunrise photos, here’s the simple trick I use every time:
arrive at least 30 minutes before the sun comes up. The best light happens long before the actual sunrise.

This is one of my favourite subway stations in Berlin. Often overlooked by passers-by it actually reminds me of a cathedral. Maybe a bit smaller.
It’s one of my favourite photo spots in Berlin and whenever I have to switch trains I stop here for a few wide angle shots.

Sunrise over beautiful Quedlinburg.
This UNESCO World Heritage City is a photographers dream. The impressive castle towers over narrow cobble stone streets and half-timbered houses. And as always it’s a good idea to set an early alarm and explore the quiet streets during the first golden light.
