Some love stories begin just around the corner. Others cross oceans. ✨

Nick & Lee flew thousands of miles from Seattle to the Bavarian Alps — and we met somewhere in the middle, in the magic of Berchtesgaden.

Wandering through misty mountains, golden light, and crisp alpine air with these two was a reminder of why I do what I do. Distance is never a reason not to have beautiful photographs of your love.

Working with children has always come naturally to me — before I picked up a camera professionally. I spent years working at summer camps, and that experience taught me something invaluable: every child has their own pace, their own energy, their own way of opening up. You can’t rush it, and you definitely can’t force it.

That’s why my family sessions don’t really look like a traditional photoshoot. We play, we move, we explore. The kids set the rhythm. And at some point everyone just forgets the camera is there — that’s when the good stuff happens.

With this family it was exactly that. Easy, fun, full of real moments — and I think it transmits it in the photos.

If you want pictures that actually look like your family, I’d love to make that happen.
