Dans le quartier de Schöneberg se trouve un bâtiment dont l'histoire reflète l'histoire contemporaine de Berlin, du régime prussien, au régime n**i puis de la guerre froide à la réunification. Ce bâtiment où siège le tribunal constitutionnel de la région de Berlin, le Kammergericht, date du début du XXème siècle, sa construction s'est achevée juste avant le début de la première guerre mondiale....

Encore une merveille architecturale des années 20 à Berlin, un bâtiment dessiné par Erich Mendelsohn et Rudolph Reichel. La première pierre de cet immeuble est posée en 1929, quelques mois avant le début de la crise. Il est inauguré un peu plus d'un an plus t**d, après quelques délais, en août 1930. Il a été commandé par le Deutsche Metallarbeiter-Verband, devenu un peu plus t**d IG Metall, syndicat représentant les intérêts des travailleurs de la métallurgie....

Another architectural marvel from the 1920s in Berlin, a building designed by Erich Mendelsohn and Rudolph Reichel. The foundation stone for this building was laid in 1929, a few months before the start of the Depression. It was inaugurated just over a year later, after some delays, in August 1930.
