The Internationales Congress Centrum (ICC) Berlin stands as a monumental relic of West Berlin’s futuristic optimism, making it a dream destination for lost-place photography. Wandering through its cavernous, spaceship-like corridors allows you to freeze a vanishing era of Space Age architecture in your memory before time or redevelopment alters it forever. Capturing the iconic light guidance system—with its glowing, retro-futuristic ceiling tracks and geometric neon indicators—creates striking visual lines that perfectly define the building’s high-tech aesthetic. Nearby, documenting the vintage textures of the Pullman Lounge offers a dramatic contrast, where the preserved mid-century seating and faded corporate luxury evoke the ghosts of high-profile summits past. Documenting these specific design features ensures that even if the ICC remains closed to the public, its bold, sci-fi soul is preserved through your lens.

📍 Odense, Denmark

Walking through the historic streets of Odense, Denmark, feels like stepping directly into a living storybook, where every corner turned reveals a new, enchanting vignette. The real magic, however, lies in the stunning array of old colorful houses, a vibrant rainbow of low-slung, pastel-hued townhouses with dark wooden beams, romantic windows, and bright hollyhocks blooming against their walls. It is impossible not to pull out your camera or phone to capture the scene, as the soft morning light glints off the damp stones and orange-tiled roofs, perfectly framing the fairytale essence of Hans Christian Andersen’s birthplace. Each snapshot feels less like a simple travel photo and more like a preserved piece of history, capturing an atmospheric, timeless charm that makes you feel as though you have traveled centuries back in time.

I was walking around .berlin and I saw this chair from

This chair won the Best in Design winner at the IFA Innovation Awards 2026. The reasoning is clear, the chair is made to solve real human needs. COVE was designed for female body types and was designed around the fit, the motion, and the recovery of the body.

There is still time to check this innovative chair!
