and here’s rishi
Rishi
we first connected online, and then the shoot kept getting postponed. well, no, that’s not quite it. it just couldn’t quite happen in my head
then we crossed paths again at the apple store. i was sitting next to him, putting yet another screen protector on my phone. he was completely absorbed in his work. i had a proper look at him and thought, yep, okay, we’re doing this shoot
and finally, it happened in my head
so i invited him, and here’s how i saw him through this connection we had
rishi is such a lovely person. bold, vibrant, and very kind. he really left a good impression on me
turns out he’s from texas. which was another little point of connection, because at one point we were thinking about moving to austin (a few years ago)
the whole shoot felt so easy. we walked around, chatted, had fun, laughed a lot. and, you know, got to know each other a little. i learned a bit more about him, which helped me look a little closer through the lens
so, here he is. rishi is literally the embodiment of my teenage crushes. those “skater boys” — god, i remember how much i loved them
it’s that energy they have
