But with the right lighting and an unusual angle, even the most reduced setup can feel bold and dynamic.

For this one, I kept the setup minimal –
but let the light and perspective do the talking.

💡 How do you photograph a scent?

For this fragrance visual, the client asked for a mood that felt:
Fresh. Elegant. Lightly mysterious.

We translated the scent notes – citrus, white florals, and ginger – directly into the set.
No heavy props. Just texture, light, and space to let the product breathe.

Because when a still life reflects the character of a fragrance, it becomes more than just a product shot.

🟡 From cardboard box to glossy result.

At first glance: a playful scene from a ball pit.
In reality: a precisely crafted still life, built from scratch in my studio.

💛 Hundreds of yellow plastic balls
👜 One bright handbag
🕰️ Countless tiny adjustments

Every detail matters in still life:
☑️ Prop placement
☑️ Light direction
☑️ Shadows & highlights
☑️ Even which ball sits behind the blue one (yes, we tweaked that too!)

✨ Good lighting makes it shine.
🧘‍♂️ Patience makes it perfect.

What looks effortless is often the result of hours of testing, shifting, and refining.

And honestly? I love that part just as much.

This shoot had *vacation vibes*…

but trust me – no one was relaxing 😅

Turns out, building a perfect beach scene in the studio is:

✔️ Messy

✔️ Dusty

✔️ Super satisfying (once it’s done)

We shaped sand by hand, fought the light reflections, and styled every shadow like it was the main character.

Totally worth the chaos ✌️
