© All rights reserved Leyla Dirim is a photographer, interpreter and translator born in Germany in 1972.

Currently works and lives in Berlin, Germany. For a long time she worked in the field of quality management and on her way to a professional reorientation, she found herself in online marketing management, project management and recently in media design. She enjoys this very much and is also looking forward to her new tasks in even newer fields. One of her favorite activities is translating and in

terpreting. She loves languages, not only because she grew up in a multilingual environment, but she simply loves the opportunity to build bridges even as a non-builder. You must know that she is addicted to coffee - especially the Turkish Coffee- and of course she loves to travel. When she is in nature, she draws strength and creates a balance. Even if it is sometimes difficult for her not to take pictures...
Photography is one of her main passions and it will always remain so since her childhood. https://youtu.be/wXYxDHDv_2I

Huge thanks to RCE for the trust they’ve shown. If you’re new to the game or a seasoned professional, their second-hand equipment is solid and dependable — plus the staff are really friendly and helpful 📸

Built between 1884 and 1894, the Reichstag is one of Berlin’s most iconic landmarks — and one of its most layered.

After German reunification in 1990, it was chosen as the seat of the new parliament. British architect Sir Norman Foster transformed it into a symbol of democratic renewal, crowning it with the now-iconic glass dome, open to the public, a quiet reminder that citizens stand above their elected representatives.

Today it remains a living monument.

BTS BER

Runways, control tower, restricted zones.

On Thursday I had the rare chance to explore the operational side of Berlin Brandenburg Airport.
Together with a small group of photographers, we passed through security before exploring areas that are normally restricted.

We spent time on the airfield, watched takeoffs and landings from close range, and photographed beneath the control tower - perspectives you don’t usually see as a passenger. The BER team gave us a real look at daily operations and the infrastructure that usually stays hidden from view.

Before we wrapped up, we also had the chance to step onto the completely empty visitor terrace. A quiet moment overlooking the airfield.
The evening ended at the newly opened Adler & Bär Bar in Terminal 1 with drinks and delicious German tapas.

Huge thanks to , for making this possible
and for your great hospitality.

Last but not least, special thanks to Meike & Mina .bearlin
Grateful for being part of this amazing community.

Urban foxes are fully established across Berlin, forming a stable city‑wide population. They’ve developed into a distinct urban type, behaving differently from rural foxes: bolder, more curious, and highly adapted to human environments. Although they may approach people closely, they remain non‑aggressive and avoid direct confrontation. Their behavior is driven by opportunity — food sources like picnics, compost, pet food, and trash attract them.

They’re mostly nocturnal, but daytime sightings are normal in cities where human activity shapes their rhythm. Encounters rarely lead to conflict; most interactions are simply curiosity and opportunism, not danger.

Still, they are wild animals — and should be treated with calm awareness and respectful distance.

showed up
by accident.

others weren’t
so lucky. After the fox had

it quickly disappeared
with its prey.
