A couple of years ago I almost stopped taking pictures in my free time. I couldn’t be bothered carrying around a camera as I would do on a daily basis working as a photographer. Only then when I became a father things changed. I got myself a small easy to use Fuji, one lens and found the love for snapping every day images again. Today I literally bring my camera almost everywhere. I use it to photograph ordinary things while strolling through the city with my family. Join me on a rainy day exploring Munichs Olympic City, a mysterious place steeped in history.

📸 1. Photowalk of 2026: Come join me, enjoying a beautiful little photowalk around a lake near Berlin and experience how relaxing photography can be. I don’t know if you feel the same, but sometimes exploring your own neighborhood with a camera can be a peaceful thing to do. Exploring light, trying to find new corners and experimenting with different angles. For me results on walks like that are secondary. When I shoot I feel happy and somewhat disconnected from the daily struggles. Photography to me can be an escape to stay in the moment. Who can relate?
