350 meters per minute, and every micrometer counts!🚀 Steel edge inspection combines two things: harsh conditions and the highest precision. At ArcelorMittal in Bremen, these two elements come together – and right in the middle of it all is our CS1280 3D laser profile sensor. 💡 With its help, the massive coils are meticulously inspected for burrs and defects along their cut edges. The demands placed on the 3D sensor are high:

👉 a high profile rate for seamless detection at maximum speed
👉 sufficient lateral resolution for detecting relevant edge defects
👉 stable measurement data across a wide range of surface properties – from bright-rolled to oxidized steel
👉 the harsh industrial environment: Vibrations, dust, scale, and fluctuating temperatures are not exceptions in the cold rolling mill, but the norm.

But the implementation has been a success.🤩 The collaboration is complemented by SELMATEC, which provides system integration, real-time evaluation, and connectivity to industrial control interfaces. A true success story!🎉

Ahoi Captain! 🛳️ Unser ist diese Woche zu Besuch in Bad Oldesloe – und das war für uns der perfekte Anlass für ein spontanes Teamevent. 🤩 Gestern ging's für uns aufs Wasser: Gemeinsam haben wir eine Bootstour rund um die Altstadtinsel der wunderschönen Hansestadt Lübeck gemacht. Eine große Empfehlung an alle, die es mal in den Norden verschlägt. Lübeck ist definitiv eine Reise wert! 😍 Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein ging es danach direkt weiter in den Beach Club. 🍹Gemeinsame Erlebnisse, Sonne auf der Haut und ein rundum gelungener Nachmittag mit dem ! ❤️

🔹 Up to 24 kHz profile rate for continuous flow of goods
🔹 IP67 housing for continuous operation in harsh industrial environments
🔹 GigE Vision standard for seamless system integration

The system makes real-time decisions: suitable for storage in the Dematic Multishuttle or off to the manual repackaging station. 💡 In use since 2018: six systems, operating trouble-free to this day.💪🏼

Let us introduce you: this little dachshund grandpa is Pepe! 🐶 In the morning, he jumps through the hallway full of energy on his way to the first cup of coffee, his ears flapping as he goes. Then he stops by every office to get a few pats and is definitely living his best life here at AT! 🤩 For the rest of the workday, he rests in his basket under his owner Paula’s desk until someone comes around the corner with a little snack. As Feel Good Manager, Pepe also holds an important position—one he’s only too happy to fulfill. I think we can all agree that a little furry coworker like this really enriches our workday!❤️
