My connection and love for photography began the day I was born. My dad got himself a Canon SLR to celebrate my birth, and I remember him taking tons of pictures of my brother and I growing up. There are tons of well curated photos tucked away in leather-bound albums at my dad's somewhere, still. To me, photography is all about capturing emotions and memories in a tangible form. Something that you

will remember forever in your head but also for you to see right in front of you. Friendly faces to match the memories in your heart and head, so you will be able to feel that same emotion every time you glance at my craft.

This fall and winter is about to be the season of babies and I'm H E R E for it- except it (in)conveniently coincides with my own maternity leave 🤪 but we all know how that went when my son was born...I just can't keep still, so we'll see how it actually goes.

Your day to day as a military spouse might not seem like much: solo parenting, missed birthdays, anniversaries, milestones, saying “see you later”, PCS, especially compared to our service members… and everyone else is doing the same. After all, we “signed up” for this life.

But-

This one is for you, the one holding down the fort. The lighthouse, the gate keeper, the compass. The face of resilience, the shadow behind their glory. You, and your work are the very foundation of this American military life.
