The Prague Quadrennial strives to present performance design as an art form concerned with creation of active performance environments, that are far beyond merely decorative or beautiful, but emotionally charged, where design can become a quest, a question, an argument, a threat, a resolution, an agent of change, or a provocation.

This year for nearly two weeks I had a chance to be part of PQ team and document The Site Specific Performance Festival, curated by Jump.

24/365 while exploring Australian jungles and Antarctic Ocean shores the news from America came.. HE LEFT. One of the most amazing person I have ever met and a great inspiration to my personal growth has left in peace, leaving behind hundred of his friends. .mekas rest in paradise, while your soul - left in all of your poems, films, photographs and conversations - will live forever ♾ ❤️

Picture is captured in 2013 in Vienna. Jonas is standing with his son Sebastian in his exhibition hall. That day exhibition was just getting installed by a curator, but Jonas invited his few Lithuanian friends, who came all the way from Prague, for a private viewing.. that’s how Jonas was - humble and honest - always with a cheeky smile. 🙏🏻

In the valley of mountains, where boundaries don’t exists, little fluffy creatures rest. Their hoof prints quickly disappear with melting snow. The cold is still in the air, but does it matter if your heart is on fire?..
